AMPATH provides high performance network interconnection services, enabling research and education networks, users, and partners to exchange data and connect efficiently. It offers policy neutral peer to peer connectivity, access to the AmLight network, and flexible Layer 2 interconnections (e.g. VLAN or port to port) through a R&E open exchange point supporting global research collaboration. The contract value is estimated at approximately USD 75,000 / year, exceeding the applicable EU threshold for service contracts taken over four (4) year term and therefore falling within the full scope of Directive 2014/24/EU
